For the 2025 edition of the Biennale Révélations, a major arts and crafts and creative event, Simone Pheulpin has opened the doors of her workshop to us and presented her latest sculpture entitled ‘Lune de Bois II’. Commissioned by the Révélations Biennial to be exhibited in the VIP area of the fair, this sculpture is the result of several months of work. The artist reveals the sources of inspiration that led her to create this new sculpture from her signature “'Croissance”' series.
Throughout this studio visit, Simone Pheulpin talks about the creation of this new sculpture, the amount of fabric and pins used, and the tools she employs. A real insight into her creative process, the audience follows one of the most influential textile artists of her generation.
