When Camille Bertrand founded Brodeuse Voyageuse in 2020, her goal was to create a more virtuous textile approach for craftsmanship and its environment. Behind every weaving and embroidery are artisans like Kaoutar, Fatima, Roukia, and Souad. These women, through their skills, play an essential role and actively contribute to their own empowerment.
Natural fibers and dyes are central to Brodeuse Voyageuse. Through his lens, Nabil Qerjij illustrates how textile art can be both aesthetically pleasing and a vehicle for fundamental values.
This documentary takes you on a journey from the mountains of Siroua to the workshop in Marrakech, passing through the plains of Chichaoua, where you will meet women who envision a more virtuous future for textiles.
