In 2025, the Révélations biennial is part of the Brazil-France cross-cultural season and its rich program that shines a spotlight on Brazilian creators!
For several months, Ateliers d’Art de France, the organizer of Révélations, has been working closely with the Brazilian Embassy in France, the Institut français, and partners from Paraíba, Pernambuco, and Ceará to showcase Brazilian fine craft.
In 2025, the Révélations biennial, as part of the Brazil-France Season, honors Brazilian fine crafts. Eight creators will exhibit for the first time in Paris, on Le Banquet and in individual stands. Embroidery, feathers, coconut fibers, vines, iron, or imburana: raw materials are transformed into unique works of art. The Paris 2025 exhibition reveals the richness of a vibrant and singular craftsmanship. A landmark event to discover Brazil’s contemporary creative scene.
Textile artist Natalia Rios and her pieces for fashion and interior design will also be showcased at booth A8.
As part of Révélations 2025, Indigenous designer Rodrigo Tremembé will take part in the panel discussion Indigenous Peoples: Heirs of a Cultural and Artistic Diversity to Preserve, organized by Ateliers d’Art de France, on Friday, May 23, from 10:30 to 11:30 am.
His work is rooted in a sustainable creative approach that respects nature, which Indigenous peoples are guardians of. This gathering, featuring other global communities, will address the recognition, transmission, and protection of traditional skills—true treasures of intangible cultural heritage. A vital reflection at the heart of engaged contemporary creation.
Following their meeting in Paris in June 2023, Presidents Emmanuel Macron and Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva agreed to organize a France-Brazil Season in 2025 to give new momentum to bilateral relations, strengthen joint responses to today’s political, social, and environmental challenges, and highlight the richness and diversity of contemporary creation in both countries.
This new Season is built around three key themes: climate and ecological transition, the diversity of societies and dialogue with Africa, and democracy and fair globalization.
The Season will take place in France from April to September 2025, and in Brazil from August to December 2025. It is coordinated by the Instituto Guimarães Rosa (for the Brazilian program in France) and the Institut français (for the French program in Brazil), in close collaboration with the Brazilian Embassy in France and the French Embassy in Brazil, under the supervision of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Culture of both countries.
The General Commissioners of the Brazil-France 2025 Season are Mr. Emilio Kalil (for the Brazilian program in France) and Ms. Anne Louyot (for the French program in Brazil).
