Alan Meredith (Irlande)
New exhibitor at Révélations 2025

Alan began working with wood from an early age, his work to date straddles the boundaries of contemporary craft, sculpture and architecture and has been exhibited both nationally and internationally. Graduating with a Masters in Architecture from University College Dublin in September 2015, Alan currently works from his studio in County Laois, Ireland, imagining and creating one of a kind and speculative pieces for both public and private clients. Completed projects include; one-of-a-kind furniture, public space design, and a collection of sculptural wood-turned vessels. Alan’s most recent work is primarily interested in finding the appropriate form for each object while attempting to reveal the inherent properties of wood. The techniques employed are an intrinsic part of the form finding process while the making is seen as a reflective journey. The work is made in series which allows ideas to be developed and refined.

Pierre Henri Beyssac (France)
New exhibitor at Révélations 2025

Pierre Henri Beyssac is a marquetry artist. He creates one-of-a-kind wall pieces for private clients, luxury brands, and interior architects. At the crossroads of art and craftsmanship, his practice gradually transcends technique to give full prominence to the image. With a mastery honed over the years, he now composes works where technical skill gives way to visual power. Beyssac immerses himself in the material, following the grain of the wood like an invisible line that guides the arrangement and layering of each element. Every veneer is carefully selected for its nuance, depth, and character, with guaranteed certified origin. Deeply committed to cross-disciplinary dialogue, he often combines marquetry with other crafts to offer a new perspective and take it where it is least expected. He collaborates with artisans such as Cédric Peltier, an expert in gilding and painting, and Steven Leprize, renowned for his work with flexible wood. In addition to his unique decorative pieces, Pierre Henri Beyssac also designs limited-edition marquetry boxes for haute couture and cognac houses.

Line & Raphaël (France)
Exhibitor at Révélations 2022 and 2023

A trained cabinetmaker and joiner, Raphaël Cuevas began by creating custom interiors and unique or small-series furniture pieces. His meeting with Line Pierron, a product designer and graduate of the École Supérieure d’Art et de Design in Reims, gave birth to Studio Line et Raphaël. Passionate about 3D printing, Line had already launched her own line of decorative objects, Imprime-moi un mouton — a nod to Saint-Exupéry, and to the impossible forms she brings to life through her printer. By combining design, traditional craftsmanship, and cutting-edge technology, Line and Raphaël handcraft futuristic furniture adorned with 3D marquetry in relief.
“Marquetry is an age-old technique, but our approach is entirely contemporary,” explains Raphaël. “We’ve brought it from 2D into 3D, into volume, with more complex, sculptural forms. Our pieces are like paintings in relief.” All their creations are handcrafted in their workshop, either as one-offs or in limited editions, for private clients and professionals alike. Once the pattern is finalized, Line codes it for digital cutting — saving time and allowing precise reproduction. “3D frees up the drawing process,” says Line. “It opens up endless possibilities. We still have so much to explore.”
